The entire point of upcycling is to reuse objects into new purposes. Turning tins/boxes/toys...whatever, into lamps is what we do. But this vintage wood piece stumped us, since we couldn't imagine it ever being anything other than a lamp. And now it is. Mounted on a base and topped with a 10" bottom new black parchment lampshade, the carved light wood urn has found its true calling. The one-of-a-kind lamp is 17" high and takes a 60watt bulb.
